The Miso toolkit consists of a set of Python for S60 (PyS60) related libraries and tools created in the PDIS and S4ALL projects at HIIT.
The Miso toolkit presently contains the following tools:
Miso is a Python for S60 utility library. The idea of the library is to provide simple utility functions and classes that are easy to implement using native Symbian OS resources, but which would be difficult or impossible to implement in pure Python.
Miso Alarm is a Python for S60 library that provides access to some of the functionality offered by the Symbian OS alarm server.
Miso Build Tool aka Sake is a Python for S60 native extension module build tool, which is used to build Miso Utilities and Miso Alarm. It supports a number of different build environments. Its source code can be found from SourceForge along with that of Miso Utilities—see http://sourceforge.net/projects/pdis-miso/.
Miso Compiler is a PLT Scheme library for the creation, analysis, and manipulation of C++ programs. It extends C++ with language-level support for Symbian and PyS60 extension programming.
