The PhD students at the department in Kumpula will give a poster exhibition on 26 March at 1:30 pm in the aula of the 2nd floor in Exactum.

You are all welcome to join in. There will be some refreshments.

Professor Panu Nykänen
"Future, Past, and Technology"
Department of Engineering Design and Production, Aalto University.

Professor Nykänen is a professor of industrial history in TKK/Aalto. His background is in archeology.

Abstract:

The number of users in the Internet and computers connected to it has been growing fast. Scalability and robustness of the network are rising their importance.
