Ubiquitous Interaction contributes to research in human-computer interaction, adaptivite and affective interfaces, multimodal interaction, exploratory search and social computing. Application areas range from sustainability and environmental awareness, home computing, walk-up-and-use display, information exploration, persuasive computing, scientific and knowledge work.
The group conducts part of the research in the Aalto University campus.
In the University of Helsinki in Kumpula, Department of Computer Science the group offers teaching and research in Interactive Systems and Human-computer interaction.
