I'm currently a researcher at Helsinki Institute for Information Technology HIIT [2] and a member of Self Made Media [3] research group. I'm also a doctoral student at The Unit of Human-Centered Technology (IHTE) [4] at Tampere University of Technology. My doctoral thesis (in progress) concentrates on studying user's interaction with automation in everyday social applications. During 2007-2008 I spent 1,5 years as a visiting scholar at University of California Berkeley/School of Information [5].
Interests: HCI, user experience design, automation in social applications, mobile media, social aspects of information, location based services, visual media, tagging, privacy, cross-use of digital and print media, innovation.
