Nokia Foundation awarded scholarships to HIIT researchers

18 Nov 2008 - Nokia foundation has awarded scholarships to three HIIT researchers. The awarded researchers are:

• Hannes Heikinheimo: Towards better interpretation and usability of frequent pattern mining results
• Peter Peltonen [2]: Social networking in the wild: mobile technoogy and identity management
• Jukka Suomela [3]: Algorithms for wireless sensor networks

Nokia Foundation supports the scientific development of information and telecommunications technologies and to promote education of the sector in Finland. The foundation has awarded scholarships to several HIIT researchers in previous years.
