Present activities
Since 1.2.2010, I am the Chief Strategy Officer of the EIT ICT Labs Knowledge and Innovation Community (KIC). I also continue as Principal Scientist at the Helsinki Institute for Information Technology.
In the EIT ICT Labs, my job is to facilitate the preparation and execution of the strategy of the KIC. This includes maintaining the Strategic Innovation Agenda and the preparation of the annual Business Plan of the organization.
At HIIT, I co-lead with Prof. Giulio Jacucci and Dr. Antti Oulasvirta the Ubiquitous Interaction research group.
In Aalto University, I chair the Professor's Council.

Other interests
Since 1999, I am on leave from my Chair of Information Technology at TKK, now in the care of Prof. Matti Hämäläinen. Until 31.12.2008 I was the Research Director of the Advanced Research Unit of HIIT.
