10.6.2021 | 12:00–17:00
Doctoral Student! Are you interested in learning about the impact your research can have in society? Do you want to discover new dimensions of your research while listening to our keynote speakers and fellow doctoral students speak about AI and its relevance in society? Or perhaps you just want to meet and mingle with fellow doctoral students and learn what their research is all about? In either case, join us for this year’s CS S4 Scientific Symposium by Students for Students.
This year’s theme is “AI for the public good” and we will feature two keynote talks by Albert Ali Salah (Utrecht University) and Oguzhan Gencoglu (Top Data Science). In addition, our event will include a wellbeing session with Maria Törnroos (Aalto University psychologist), free remote lunch & short presentations by other doctoral students, mingling opportunities, a quiz competition, and if allowed a get-together outdoors after the event.
The official part of the event will be held over zoom, on Thursday, 10 June at 12:00-17:00. The program schedule will be published closer to the event.
Register by 31. May and read more here.
