Petros Petsinis completed his Ph.D. at Aarhus University in 2025 under the supervision of Prof. Panagiotis Karras. During his doctoral studies, he was a member of the Data-Intensive Systems Group at Aarhus University and affiliated with the Pioneer Centre for AI in Denmark.

Since October 2025, he has been a HIIT Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Helsinki, working under the guidance of Prof. Nikolaj Tatti. His research interests lie at the intersection of graph-based combinatorial optimization and network analysis, with a focus on problems such as influence maximization, graph alignment, and dense subgraph discovery. Currently, he is developing efficient and effective algorithms to discover revealing subgraphs within graph networks modeling social, biological, and communication interactions.
