Developed collaboratively by the University of Helsinki, MinnaLearn, and Lutsk National Technical University, the Ukrainian version of the course makes AI education even more accessible to learners in Ukraine.

Since its launch in 2018, over 1.4 million students from more than 170 countries have participated in the Elements of AI course. The course offers easy-to-understand information and practical exercises on the basics of artificial intelligence. It includes self-study resources, interactive content, and tasks that require approximately 30 hours of work. Students learn about AI concepts, usage methods, and limitations.

In October, the Elements of AI was awarded the AI Venture of the Year by AI Finland and Business Finland at the AI Gala. The panel recognized the course as one of the most significant AI achievements in Finland over the past decade, praising it for democratizing AI expertise globally and positioning Finland as a key player in international AI education.
