HIIT Open Discussion Hour

Welcome to discuss current matters of interest to HIIT and the Helsinki region ICT community at large. The Director of HIIT, Petri Myllymäki, will first give a brief status report and go through the current support instruments provided by HIIT, including postdoc recruitment opportunities and the ongoing Open Calls. As the name implies, the Open Calls are indeed open to all members of the local ICT community and not restricted to members of the HIIT research programmes (see https://www.hiit.fi/support-call/ for more information). Besides spreading awareness of HIIT’s current initiatives, an important purpose of the meeting is to discuss new ideas for maximising HIIT’s impact and support for the Helsinki ICT community.
